Today was the last day of the 2012 FIRST Robotics Denver Regional. On 2 rare occurrences during the entire regional, 3 robots were able to balance themselves on the ramp in the middle. The 2012 FIRST Robotics challenge, Rebound Rumble, required robots in a team of 3 play a quick, 2 minute game of basket ball with each other with 5 baskets on each court, worth 1, 3, and 5 points depending on the height. In the middle of the "court" there were 3 bridges that the teams could balance on for bonus points. 1 robot balancing was worth 10 extra points, 2 robots was 30 points, and all 3 robots got the team an extra 40 points for the match.
