Poudre FLL Tournament

I got a little behind on photos because of school. I guess since I'm not a art major, I picked my priorities correctly. Last weekend, however, I took a day to volunteer like I have been for many years, at the FIRST Lego League event at Poudre High School. I competed here 10 years ago in the first event that got me down the engineering route.
This year, like last year, I was an event photographer. I ended up taking just under a thousand photos. Since it's Thanksgiving break, I finally had some time to do some editing

New Awards

In years past, the awards have been a clear plastic, which looked much cooler than the awards this year in my opinion. But, these are a lot easier to photograph! This year's challenge was called "Senior Solutions" - geared towards how the youth can help the old as they need more assistance.

Robotics

With all the photos I took, I can't say that there is any one that specifically sticks out as the best photo. So I picked one at random of one of the groups and their robot to put up on my blog. I can't, obviously, put up all the photos.

The Yodas

This is one of the teams - The Yodas, and probably the most impressionable because of their costumes. I have no idea how well they did in the competition.
