Denver Comic Con 2013
Katherine and I ventured into Denver to go to the 2013 Denver Comic Con. The second Denver Comic Con and it was PACKED. I have never been at an event with more people before in my life. Katherine and I came to Highlands Ranch for the weekend and took the light rail down to the Convention Center in Denver. That was a good idea because of how many people were there, I don't think that we could have found a place to park! Here are a bunch of photos of the event!

Katherine and I got some stick on tattoos the night before that worked perfectly for this event! My knuckles said "STAR TREK" on them. It was pretty cool!
Mini Doc Ock
This kid provided me with quite a bit of entertainment while waiting in line. Once Katherine and I got to the event, we had to wait about 45 minutes in line - which was much better than what the lines were on Friday according to several people

So this is particularly interesting because I know the guy who made these, I work with him. I've seen the images of this driod on his FaceBook page and I was excited that I got to see them in person! I asked him how much they cost and he said ~10-11K... That's a pretty big commitment! Still really cool considering they move in every direction and make awesome sounds.

So I'm disappointed that there was almost no animated adult TV shows there. This was pretty much the only Futurama thing at the entire event!

Legos Everywhere!
There were a lot of Lego things at the 2013 DCC. There were a solid dozen bins of Lego people to buy.
Dr Who
I bought 3 things at the Denver Comic Con this year. I bought lunch, bought some comic books (because you have to, right?) and I got a Dr. Who poster with a Darlek on it. I feel like it was a solid event.
