This is the pier at Huntington beach. The red restaurant is Rubys. We were going to eat there but didn't want to wait until dinner time. Empty BeachThe beach wasn't really empty, I just took this shot at the right time. Perfect WeatherThe weather when we got there was perfect, and even more perfect right next to the ocean. It was warm enough to walk around in shorts and without flip-flops. The water was a little cold, so we didn't actually get in the water. I took this shot with my mini tripod and put it on the ground.Under the Pier>#This is Katherine and my symbol. It seemed fitting to write it in the sand. The Busy BeachIn the ShadeEven in the shade the weather was perfect.California BeachAbout to Wipe OutWe watched people wipe out quite a bit while we sat on the pier.Wiped OutNot Wiping Out (Yet)I took a lot of shots of people wiping out as well as surfing well. We checked into the hotel and walked over there, only a 10-15 minute walk. We had dinner there and walked around the shops.
