Denver Botanical & Zoo
Today was a free day at the Denver Botanical Gardens. The past several days were rainy and cold, so we were lucky to have such nice weather on the day that was free. Since it's early April, we weren't expecting much, but there were quite a bit of flowers and plants growing. the inside areas were the best, since they aren't weather dependent, but it was still a nice walk through the gardens.

These were the first flowers I stopped at because they were so odd because of the transparency.

Yellow Bush
This bush was very intriguing. I don't think I've seen many yellow bushes before!
Lonely Red Flower
This flower was an early bloomer. It's all alone in a sea of white flowers.

Glass Art
This is a pretty interesting and impressive piece of blown glass!
Clear Points
I thought it was interesting that the tips of the glass was clear, as if there is a clear glass coating over the colored glass.
Yellow and White
We weren't sure what these plants were, but they smelled like Honeysuckle or Lilacs. We couldn't find any sing that told us what they were!
Science Pyramid
We went into the science pyramid, it wasn't that exciting. But it's a cool building and looks pretty neat!
Cleaning
After the Botanical gardens, we headed over to the zoo. Since we were members, we thought we would cruise on through the zoo and see if any of the animals were doing anything cool.
Fierce
The lions weren't hiding like they usually are. Two of them were up on rocks and the other two were lying in plain sight. That's different from the usual!
