Calabration
Part of the album: Dual Extruder Setup
Since the printer can print fairly tight tolerances (100 microns = 0.004 inches), I needed a way to calibrate the printer. That's what the light blue thing is at the bottom. I designed and printed it with just one extruder attached, but basically it allows me to pull the second extruder (farthest right) closer and farther away from the primary extruder. This is really only to get the extruder heads level with each other. To tweek the offsets and get the extruder heads aligned, I have to make a few prints and try and change the offsets that the printer thinks the heads are from one another.
