The weather was great this weekend. Just looking at the temperatures, which were in the mid 50's, you wouldn't think that it's February. Since the mountains were not quite that nice, we decided to go on a quick hike at Devil's Backbone. We barely got a parking spot, but this hike started out great. Towards the half-way mark, it got pretty windy. The hike was 2.6 miles and took just under 1 hour.

This weekend was the Loveland Sweetheart Festival where they unveiled a 30ft wide sculpture that will be placed at the Loveland Visitor center. For the weekend, it was in downtown Loveland where people were encouraged to buy locks and put them on the sculpture. It was a pretty chilly day, and even colder with the wind. But Katherine and I bought a lock, engraved it, and locked it on the sculpture. We will have to visit the sculpture in the summer and see if our lock is still there!

My work sent me to the Solidworks World convention. The 3-day conference was in the middle of Dallas, Texas. I had a little extra space in my luggage, so I threw my camera in there. I didn't have a whole lot of time to go explore the city, but when I did, I had my camera with me.
