Every year Wolf throws a holiday party. Katherine and I went, and since it was a masquerade, I made a Wolf mask.

Katherine and I made home made gingerbread houses. We made the gingerbread ourselves and assembled it all ourselves. It took all afternoon (and partially the morning too), and we got frosting everywhere (mostly on the houses, but everywhere else also). It was nice being able to do something like that, since we're not used to being able to do something for the entire day on the weekend because of classes.

Katherine's neighborhood is pretty nice, so there are quite a bit of houses that put up lights. Katherine and I went out and looked at some of them. There were a lot of them to look at, and we didn't stop at very many. This one, by far, is the best.

Katherine and I went to Hammond's Candies down in Denver the day after Christmas. We had nothing else to do, and we weren't too far from it (since we were at her house), so we figured we could take the tour. The place was packed, but it was still pretty fun.

Katherine and I decided to go into Denver on new years eve, so we made a whole day trip out of it. We started by going ice skating out doors, then we went to zoo lights at the Denver Zoo, and then we went into downtown and went to the 16th street mall where we unexpectedly saw fireworks at 9pm. We were thinking we had to wait until midnight but they do 2 shows. The entire night was low 40's, which you can't ask for much better in the middle of the night in late December. I also ended up taking this photo last at Zoo Lights.
