Katherine and I made a quick trip to the Julian Dubuque Monument in the Mines of Spane park.

Katherine and I went to the Maquoketa Caves but the path was a little too muddy for us to go on an extensive walk. I still took a few photos though.

Katherine and I stopped by the Swiss Valley Nature Center to go on what we thought would be a short hike. The hike was way more than we thought it would be and both of us were huffing and puffing by the time we got to the top of the hill.
