We had a few bad thunderstorms a few days in a row. None of the lightening was too close to our apartment, but close enough that I could try and take some photos.

I was looking out my window and noticed a hawk sitting on a tree that was fairly close to me. I quickly grabbed my camera to take as many shots as I could before he flew away.

Katherine and I finished our party favors fro the wedding. We finished them before finishing the invitations for the wedding.

Katherine brought home cupcakes. Why? Because why not.

Katherine and I walked around the lake that's close to our condo.

Katherine and I went to the Denver Zoo for Mike's Camera's test drive where they let you rent camera equipment for free! In total I was able to rent approximately $26,000! I rented 2 different bodies and 4 lenses, and got to use two very nice lenses that were at different areas at the zoo. The equipment I got to use is below:

Katherine and I have been back in Colorado nearly 2 months and we haven't made it up to Horsetooth yet! It was a little windy and cold so we didn't stay long, but I brought my camera.

Katherine and I decided to go on a hike on Memorial day. We went up to Devils Backbone in Loveland mid morning and it was packed! It was a good thing we got there when we did because there were several cars looking for parking spots when we were leaving. The hike was 4.72 miles, 817ft total ascent, and we completed it in just over 2 hours (with 30 minutes of stopping in places for photos).
